Ali Modiri, DDS, of Stamford, Conn., won nearly $1 million in a civil lawsuit against his former dental partner for breach of contract, according to the Connecticut Law Tribune.

Annalee (Reicks) Fenci, DDS, purchased land to open a new pediatric dental office in Winneshiek County, Iowa.

John R. McGuire, DMD, of Keystone Dental Center in Scranton, Pa., will star on this year's Big Brother reality show on CBS.

Steve Nelson, DDS, has purchased a dental practice in Mountain View Plaza, Ore., reports Mail Tribune.

George Sanchez, DDS, has joined Delray Beach, Fla.,-based Spodak Dental Group.

Daniel Thomas, DDS¸ has been named to a nine-member board that oversees higher education by Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback.
