Heartland Dental expands footprint in 2015; Henry Schein donates $12k to expand care access & more — 6 key notes

Here are six updates on dental companies from the last week.

Henry Schein made a $12,000 donation to the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics for the organization's efforts to expand medical care access to uninsured and underinsured Dallas residents.

Analysts expect 3M to report earnings per share of $1.92 for the first quarter of 2016, up from $1.85 during the same period in 2015. 3M is set to report its first quarter 2016 earnings on April 26, according to TheStreet.

At the PLM Road Map 2016, David Sherburne, an executive director in Carestream's IT department, will make a presentation. Equipped with more than 30 years of experience in IT application development and spanning product design, Mr. Sherburne will offer high tech and medical device attendees a new perspective on how to lessen the gap between IT and business, according to TheStreet.

Analysts expect Dentsply Sirona to report earnings per share of $0.62 for the quarter, according to CRUW Observer.

In 2015, Heartland Dental affiliated with 54 dental offices and supported the opening of 52 new dental offices.

Patterson Companies shares fell 1.88 percent in short interest, according to Franklin Independent. In April, the shares total short interest was 6.13 million shares.
