Irvine, Calif.-based Biolase named Mark Nelson its next chief financial officer.
Here are three fast facts.
1. Mr. Nelson is replacing David Dreyer, who resigned Dec. 31, 2016. Mr. Dreyer is pursuing other opportunities.
2. Mr. Nelson has worked in executive management for several years. He was most recently Los Angeles-based Beyond Meat's CFO and COO.
3. Biolase CEO Harold C. Flynn, Jr. said in a release, "Mark has exactly the right mix of broad financial expertise and general management experience that BIOLASE needs at this pivotal time in our continued transformation."
