The Academy of Osseointegration named Zvi Artzi, DDS, Jeffrey Lloyd, DDS, John Lupovici, DDS, and Jay Malmquist, DDS, fellows.
Here's what you should know.
1. Dr. Artzi is a periodontist and an AO ambassador for the organization's Israel chapter. He is a professor at Tel Aviv University in Israel.
2. Dr. Lloyd is a member of the organization's board of directors. He practices in a private practice in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.
3. Dr. Lupovici is a periodontist and a member of the organization's finance and audit, grant and award committees. He is American Board of Periodontics certified and is a member of six other professional organizations.
4. Dr. Malmquist is a fellow in seven other dental associations. He has authored more than 20 scientific articles and five textbook chapters.
