The Academy of Osseointegration appointed Dr. Michael Norton president at its annual meeting in Orlando, March 15 to March 18, 2017.
Here's what you should know.
1. Dr. Norton succeeds Alan Pollack, MD.
2. Dr. Norton said he would support AO's current efforts to develop a national study club network, and would continue reaching out to universities to raise awareness.
3. Dr. Norton said in a statement, "This is a massive moment in my career, indeed in my life, and I am indebted to every single person who has helped, encouraged and guided me down this road."
