Researchers found the monthly average number oral and maxillofacial surgeries performed has increased from 2010 to 2016, according to a Dentistry IQ report that covered data from 12,500 dental practices.

Here is the average annual number of surgeries performed from 2010 to 2016:

1. 2010 – 24.92 surgeries
2. 2011 – 26.25 surgeries
3. 2012 – 26.50 surgeries
4. 2013 – 27.75 surgeries
