Dental health ranked by state, Washington, DC

Connecticut was ranked No. 1 for place with the best dental health, according to a study from dental provider Express Dentists.

The study, published Jan. 1, looked at 25 indicators of dental health such as water fluoridation, adult Medicaid dental benefits and the number of dentists per 100,000 people.

The dental health of the 50 states and Washington, D.C., ranked from best to worst:
