New Jersey health officials warn patients at dental practice of measles exposure

The New Jersey Health Department issued a warning July 10 of a possible measles exposure in the Ocean County area, according to ABC7.

Health officials said someone with measles visited Lakewood, N.J.-based Center for Health Education Medicine and Dentistry. Anyone who was there July 10 between 1:30 and 6 p.m. might have been exposed to measles.

Patients who were at the dental practice during that time and those specific times are advised to contact a health provider immediately. Those who were potentially exposed could develop symptoms as late as July 31, health officials said.
