The Hispanic Dental Association has launched a bilingual, peer-reviewed journal to advance access to information pertinent to the Hispanic community, the dental group said Oct. 11.
The quarterly Journal of the Hispanic Dental Association will publish work under the following categories: dentistry, dental hygiene and student work. In addition to Hispanic and Latino oral health, topics can include public health, technology, ethics and workforce recruitment.
The dental association requested manuscript submissions in English and Spanish in a Sept. 27 letter to potential authors.
The group has about 8,500 members.
