Carolinas Center for Ambulatory Dentistry drills into new facility: 5 insights

Charlotte, N.C.-based Carolinas Center for Ambulatory Dentistry broke ground on an 11,000-square-foot dental surgery center, according to the Charlotte Business Journal.

Here are five insights:

1. Construction on the facility is expected to be completed July 31.

2. Carolinas Center for Ambulatory Dentistry was created from a partnership between Charlotte-based Carolinas Center for Oral & Facility Surgery and Fayetteville, N.C.-based Village Family Dental.

3. Carolinas Center for Ambulatory Dentistry is set to lease the facility on a long-term basis, with the option to purchase the surgery center in the future.

4. The surgery center will include two operating rooms, two procedure rooms, four private exam rooms, six semi-private recovery areas and a nurse station.

5. Full range of services will be provided at the new surgery center, will include wisdom teeth removal, facial cosmetics, dental implants and jaw surgery.
