Ankeny-based A-1 Iowa Dental was closed Oct. 18 due to an FBI raid, according to KCCI.
Here are four things to know:
1. Patients who showed up for routine cleanings and appointments were turned away unexpectedly.
2. FBI officials told KCCI they raided the office due to "court-ordered law enforcement business."
3. All dentists at A-1 Iowa Dental have valid licenses, according to the Iowa Dental Board.
4. While dentists were not seeing patients, an orthodontist at A-1 Iowa Dental posted on Facebook that he was proceeding as normal.
