The Maine Board of Dental Practice dismissed 13 remaining complaints against dentist and oral surgeon Jan Kippax, DMD, according to the Bristol Herald Courier.
Dr. Kippax was accused of poor patient care. The allegations led to his license being temporarily suspended.
Patients alleged Dr. Kippax removed the wrong teeth and performed procedures despite patients' request to stop. The dental board dismissed a majority of the claims in December 2017.
Dr. Kippax's license has since been restored. His lawyer claims the board's decision shows suspending the dentist's license was an "egregious error based on false allegations" and a "shamefully biased investigation," according to the Bristol Herald Courier.
