1. Irvine, Calif.-based Smile Brands added Seattle-based Gateway Dental to its network of practices.
2. Boston-based private equity firm Abry Partners made a strategic investment in Framingham, Mass.-based Dr. Dental Management.
3. Henry Schein has acquired Lighthouse 360, a dental practice management and patient communication provider.
4. DentaQuest signed a definitive merger agreement to acquire DCP Holding Co., the parent company of Dental Care Plus Group, a dental insurer provider in the Midwest.
5. The Delta Dental Foundation has appointed Holli Seabury, PhD, CEO of Fort Wayne, Ind.-based McMillen Health, to serve as its executive director, effective March 25.
6. Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental is now affiliated with six Menasha, Wis. -based RLJ Dental practices.
