Adults forgoing dental care because of costs, CDC says

Adults are skipping trips to the dentist because of the cost of care, according to the CDC in a report from NBC affiliate WNYT.

The report found 13 percent of women skipped the dentist in 2017 because of the cost. Around 9 percent of men didn’t get dental care for the same reason.

Hispanics were most likely to have unmet dental care needs the CDC report found, according to Myhighplains.com.
