Forbes: 3 AI-focused devices to make waves in dental industry

Along with the rest of the healthcare industry, dental manufacturers, practice owners and dental service organizations are turning to artificial intelligence to improve patient care.

Here are three new AI-focused devices that have made an impact on the industry, according to Forbes.

1. Dentem has developed a platform that integrates machine learning application programming interfaces, such as the ability to auto-populate tooth charting.

2. Beam, a dental insurance provider, developed its own toothbrush that uses AI to record the time and frequency a user brushes his or her teeth and then syncs the data with the company's app.

3. Quip's toothbrush is another product that gives younger patients better access to smart brushing technology. Forbes described the tech as "the Tesla of toothbrushes."
