Former Invisalign execs launch new clear aligner

Former leaders from Invisalign and Philips Sonicare released a new clear aligner brand on June 12 known as OrthoFX.

The treatment plan follows other clear aligner companies' protocols. For OrthoFX, patients submit three pictures of their smile through the company's website or by text. Patients then receive an advanced 3D simulation of how their teeth could look and a treatment plan.

Patients and dentists then meet face-to-face to review the treatment plan. At this time, patients and dentists can make any adjustments to the plan. All visits with dentists are scheduled upfront for the entire treatment process.

Within 48 hours of the initial 3D scan, patients receive their fist set of aligners.

For patients whose teeth shift, OrthoFX offers up to three years of retreatments.
