Arizona dentist allegedly treating patients in Ohio after losing license

A dentist who lost his license to practice in Arizona was seen teaching sedation and treating patients during a week-long course in Ohio, according to video obtained by ABC15.

Pankaj Goyal, DDS, was allegedly at the Academy of Dental and Medical Anesthesia's late August educational course on sedation and anesthesia in Ohio.

Attending dentists told ABC15 that Dr. Goyal was leading lectures and supervising sedation and anesthesia procedures. One of the dentists said that Dr. Goyal had even administered anesthetic to a patient.

Dr. Goyal lost his license to practice dentistry and administer anesthetic in Arizona in July after pleading guilty the three felony forgery charges. Prosecutors said Dr. Goyal had used falsified credentials in order to obtain an anesthesia certification. As part of a plea deal, he received no prison time.

According to ABC15, Goyal still has an active license in Ohio.
