ADA Foundation donates $34K to veteran dental care

The American Dental Association Foundation donated nearly $34,000 to Dental Lifeline Network — a nonprofit that will use the funds to provide dental services to veterans.

The donation was given through the American Hero Fund, established by the ADA Foundation in April to honor Loren Feldner, DDS, a former chair of the American Dental Political Action Committee and the Commission on Dental Accreditation, who died suddenly in January.

"Hundreds of dentists have volunteered to donate comprehensive care and the funds will help DLN support these volunteers," Fred Leviton, president and CEO of Dental Lifeline Network, said.

DLN launched the Will You See One Vet campaign last Veteran's Day, recruiting over 900 dentists to volunteer and treat veterans nationwide.
