The Texas Health and Human Services department approved MCNA Dental to provide coverage for state Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program beneficiaries.
Founded in 2012, MCNA Dental provides services to nearly 1.5 million Medicaid and CHIP members across Texas. The new contract will go into effect Sept. 1, 2020.
Along with its large presence in Texas, MCNA Dental covers patients in Florida, Louisiana, Idaho, Iowa, Nebraska, Arkansas and Utah. In total, the dental provider covers around 8 million beneficiaries.
