Pennsylvania dental practice hit by car for 2nd time

No one was injured when an 88-year-old Pennsylvania woman crashed her Cadillac into Scott Family Dental June 2 after accidentally stepping on the gas pedal instead of the brake, according to TribLive.

However, the woman, who is a patient Scott Family Dental in Plum, Pa., caused significant damage to the building.

"The building shook. It sounded like there was an explosion," practice founder Robert Scott, DMD, told TribLive.

The office's back corner had previously been damaged when a flatbed truck crashed into the practice in 1989. Dr. Scott said that while he thinks the damage caused by the second crash are worse than the first, everything can be fixed.
