In Dentists

Arch Family Dentistry VP, manager accused of filing $350,000+ in false claims

Two office managers for Indiana-based Arch Complete Family Dentistry were indicted on single counts of healthcare fraud, according to Feb. 23 news release from acting U.S. Attorney Gary Bell.

Justyn Arch, 34, and Trystan Arch, 31, both worked for Arch Complete Family Dentistry, which had offices in Chesterton, Crown Point and briefly Knox, all in Indiana. The practices were an authorized Indiana Medicaid provider of dental procedures. In October 2017, Justyn Arch, vice president of Arch Complete Family Dentistry, managed the Crown Point office, while Trystan Arch managed the Chesterton practice.

The two allegedly defrauded Indiana Medicaid by creating fictitious entries in patient files. The false entries claimed dentists had performed surgery when they had not, according to the U.S. attorney. The false claims to Indiana Medicaid total more than $350,000, reports the U.S. attorney's office.
