4. Alton-based Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine Dean Bruce Rotter, DDS, named Duane Douglas, DMD, associate dean for faculty.
5. Louvenia Rainge, DMD, was recognized March 9 by the Georgia Senate as the 152nd president of the Georgia Dental Association. Dr. Rainge is the association's first Black female president.
6. The Michigan Periodontal Association elected Allan Padbury Jr., DDS, president.
