$100K in medical equipment, J&J vaccine stolen from dental office

A haul of medical equipment, Botox and COVID-19 vaccine doses valued at $100,000 were stolen last week from a Purdy, Wash.-based dental practice, according to a report in The News Tribune.

The dental practice was broken into overnight between April 29 and 30, according to the report. The Pierce County Sheriff's Department issued a social media alert that $100,000 in medical equipment, 100 vials of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine and one vial of Botox were taken from the office.

HHS cleared dentists and dental students to administer the COVID-19 vaccine March 11.
