Man arrested in robbery of dental practice; stolen COVID-19 vaccines destroyed

A 30-year-old man has been arrested in relation to stolen COVID-19 vaccine doses and more than $100,000 worth of medical equipment taken from a Purdy, Wash.-based dental office, reports The News Tribune.

The sheriff's department said 100 vials of Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine had been stolen May 5. The vaccines were destroyed by the rain after the suspect hid the vials in a bush, reports the Tribune.

A majority of the property stolen from the dentist's office was returned. The suspect is also accused of robbing a local hair salon.
