Michigan pediatric dentist accused of falsely billing Medicaid, charged with 10 fraud counts

A Michigan dentist is facing several felony charges for allegedly submitting fraudulent claims to Medicaid, according to an Aug. 25 news release from Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel.

Ghada Beydoun, DDS, is facing 10 counts of Medicaid fraud-false claim.

Dr. Beydoun was enrolled in Healthy Kids Dental, Michigan's Medicaid program that provides necessary dental care to children from low-income households. In 2017 and 2018, Dr. Beydoun allegedly billed the program multiple times for services she didn't provide.

The dentist was given a $50,000 personal recognizance bond.
