Kim Martin, DMD, president of the New Mexico Dental Association, has donated $25,000 to the Texas Tech University Hunt School of Dental Medicine in El Paso, NBC affiliate KTSM reported March 14.
Dr. Martin, who also practices at University Family Dental in Las Cruces, N.M., made the donation March 4 to the school's Dental Excellence Fund, which supports current and future dental students.
The school named a pediatric suite in its oral health clinic after Dr. Martin's two children. Dr. Martin also plans to spend time at the school as a volunteer clinical instructor.
