Here are five things to know about Dallas-based Deca Dental CEO Sulman Ahmed, DMD.
1. Dr. Ahmed opened his first dental office in 2008. From there, he set out to create a patient-centered care model.
2. Under his leadership, Deca Dental was recognized as one of Inc. Magazine's Top 5,000 fastest growing companies in the nation. The Dallas Business Journal also named Deca Dental one of the top 100 companies in the region.
3. In 2016, Dr. Ahmed was a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year. He won the same award in 2017.
4. Throughout his career, Dr. Ahmed has built relationships with St. Jude Children's Hospital. He became the exclusive provider of free dental services to thousands of kids with the Kidd's Kids Organization and Pat & Emmitt Smith charities.
