Foothill Ranch, Calif.-based Biolase recently added three dental industry leaders to its board of directors.
The appointments, effective immediately, are aimed at helping the dental laser company's planned growth, according to an Aug. 16 press release.
The three new board members are:
- Kathleen O'Loughlin, DMD, executive director of the American Dental Association
- Carol Summerhays, DDS, chair of the board of councilors at the University of Southern California Ostrow School of Dentistry in Los Angeles
- Martha Somerman, DDS, chief field editor of Frontiers in Dental Medicine
