Boston-based CareQuest Innovation Partners is partnering with Switzerland-based vVARDIS to bring drill-free dental technology to Medicaid patients, the company said Sept. 15.
As part of the partnership, vVARDIS is conducting a study of its technology used to fight tooth decay at dental practices affiliated with the CareQuest Institute for Oral Health. Once the study is completed, the company will seek to expand its treatments to underserved and Medicaid populations.
The two groups will also establish philanthropic opportunities to educate patients and dental professionals on oral health in marginalized communities. They will also enlist additional philanthropic organizations to raise awareness on the importance of oral healthcare to the public.
