Orthodontics startup lands $10.5M in series A funding

Orthodontics startup company KLOwen recently earned $10.5 million in series A funding.

KLOwen was founded in 2019 to provide customized braces that achieve results in 20-40 percent less time, the company said.

Investors of the series A funding round include Columbia Pacific Advisors, Jazz Venture Partners, SpringRock Ventures, Ensemble Innovation Ventures and the American Association of Orthodontists.

While the company has specialized in metal brackets, it will debut clear brackets later this month, according to a May 20 news release.
