ADA recruiting volunteers to establish teledentistry standards

The American Dental Association is looking for volunteers to join its new standards working group on teledentistry, the organization said Dec. 1.

The group will focus on identifying which practices are best for capturing, storing and exchanging data and seeks to give dental professionals clearer guidance on which methods are trusted for secure data exchange among patients and providers.

Those interested in joining the group are asked to contact the ADA Department of Standards via email.
