Nashville, Tenn.-based SmileDirectClub has appointed Ted Ward as a director on its board, Yahoo Finance reports.
Mr. Ward has over three decades of experience, most recently leading the marketing team at insurance giant Geico.

Mr. Ward's appointment follows Rick Schnall's resignation as a director on SmileDirectClub's board.
