Nashville, Tenn.-based SmileDirectClub has joined a recently established nonprofit as a founding industry partner.
Women in DSO was founded last year by Aman Kaur, DDS. The organization aims to advance and promote women in the DSO field.
SmileDirectClub joined the group as part of its mission to support diversity and inclusion initiatives, the teledentistry company announced in a July 23 press release. As a founding industry partner, the company will contribute to the organization's services, which include networking, mentorship and education.
Susan Greenspon Rammelt, SmileDirectClub's general counsel, corporate secretary and director, will join Women in DSO as a board member. The company's director of professional education and marketing, Riddhi Gangolli Sr., PhD, will also join as a founding member.
