Dental artificial intelligence company Overjet raised $27 million in series A financing to accelerate the company's growth in the industry.
The financing stage was led by venture capital firm General Catalyst and Insight Partners, a global private equity and venture capital firm. Additional participants included Crosslink Capital and the E14 Fund, according to an Aug. 26 news release.
Overjet received FDA approval to market its Dental Assist product to dental practices in May and acquired dental claims review company American Dental Examiners in June.
