Dentulu and the Teledentists are partnering to create the largest dental network in the U.S. and are expected to fully merge in 2022, the teledentistry company said Oct. 11.
The Teledentists provide 24/7 online care with video consultations, e-prescriptions and referrals from a network of licensed dental professionals.
Dentulu provides teledentistry software and virtual care from its own network of dental professionals.
The two companies said they are hoping to expand access to virtual care to deter patients from visiting hospital emergency rooms.
They expect a full merger in the first quarter of 2022.
