Average hourly wage for orthodontists across 15 states

Orthodontists have the highest mean hourly wage in Michigan, where they make an average of $158.47 per hour, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. 

The agency released updated compensation data April 3 to reflect May 2023 information, the latest available.

Washington: $141.79

Wisconsin: $120.08
