Drs. Colin Morton, Matt McCullough & more — 5 dentists making headlines

Here are five dentists making the news this week.

Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon nominated William T. Kane, DDS, to the Missouri Dental Board. Dr. Kane is a dental examiner for the Central Regional Dental Testing Serve and Western Regional Examining Board, according to Sikeston Standard Democrat.

New York dentist Colin Morton, DDS, is giving free dental implant education seminars. Dr. Morton and his team will conduct the seminars on a monthly basis.

In July 2014, Iowa dentist Matt McCullough, DDS, was diagnosed with brain cancer. To help other dentists who may be unable to operate their own practice and care for patients, Dr. McCullough and his wife are working with the University of Iowa on an outreach program.

Bryce Gates, DMD, will head to Isabelle Elementary School in McKinney, Texas, to educate students on good oral hygiene practices. He specializes in cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, restorative dentistry, surgical treatments and conscious sedation.

Joshua Conway, DDS, of Spokane Valley (Wash.) Dentistry, and his team created a new website for the practice, which features information about different dental procedures.
