3M revenue hits $7.4B, Henry Schein names 2 new senior executive roles & more — 6 key notes

Here are six updates on dental companies from the last week.

Henry Schein promoted Dave McKinley to chief commercial officer and named Karen Prange executive vice present and CEO of Henry Schein's Global Animal Health & Medical Group. Currently, Mr. McKinley is the president of Henry Schein Medical Group, and Ms. Prange joins Henry Schein after serving as senior vice president at Boston Scientific.

For the first quarter of 2016, 3M had revenue reaching $7.4 billion, a slight decrease from $7.58 billion during the first quarter last year.

Aspen Dental is opening a practice in Gadsden, Ala., on April 28. Radhika Katragunta, DMD, will lead the practice.

Evelyn V. Moreno purchased a nearly $5.89 million stake in Danaher. She bought an additional 1,890 shares, and now holds 60,855 Danaher shares, according to Market Digest.

Biolase will post its first quarter results on April 29. Analysts expect the company to post earnings per share of $0.03 for the quarter.

During the fourth quarter, Westfield Capital Management increased its position in DENTSPLY by 52.6 percent, according to The Vista Voice.
