Marquee Dental Partners acquires 5 Alabama practices — 5 highlights

Dental support organization Marquee Dental Partners acquired five Alabama practices.

Here are five highlights:

1. Marquee Dental acquired the five practices through its affiliation agreement with Save-On Dental, a multispecialty dental practice. Save-On Dental has practices in Arab, Foley, Millbrook, Pelham and Saraland, all of which Marquee Dental will acquire.

2. John Denton, DMD, Save-On Dental's co-founder, will stay involved in the practice.

3. Marquee Dental will maintain Save-On Dental's dentists and staff members.

4. Since the company's 2015 launch, Marquee has added 16 practices in three states.

5. James Usdan is Marquee Dental's CEO, and Christy Englehart is the chief compliance officer. Other leaders include:
•    Steve Hecklin, DMD, chief dental officer
•    Luke Lamphron, chief financial officer
•    Nathan Cox, vice president of business development and chief development officer
