Dentsply Sirona net sales total $1.02B in Q2; Aspen Dental completes construction on 3.7k-sq-ft facility & more — 5 key notes

Here are five updates on dental companies.

Dentsply Sirona had net sales hitting $1.02 for the second quarter of 2016, up 46.4 percent compared to $698 million in the second quarter last year.

Henry Schein had dental sales hitting $1.4 billion during the second quarter of 2016, up 4 percent from the same period of 2015.

For the full year 2016, Danaher expects GAAP diluted net earnings per share from continuing operations to be between $2.79 and $2.86.

Aspen Dental completed construction on a new 3,700-square-foot facility. Fernando Neira, DDS, will lead the office in Cape Coral, Fla., according to Cape-Coral Daily Breeze.com.

For the third quarter this year, 3M had a dividend of $1.11 per share. The dividend is payable to shareholders of record at business close on Aug. 19, 2016.
