Danaher is set to purchase the molecular diagnostics company Cepheid for $53 per share, according to the Wall Street Journal. This deal is valued at $4 billion.

A new Aspen Dental practice is scheduled to open Thursday, Sept. 8, in Muscatine, Iowa.

The investment holding company Alleghany bought 1.26 million shares in Dentsply Sirona, increasing its stake in the company by 370.59 percent, according to Consumer Eagle.

The investment management company Yale Capital purchased an additional three shares in 3M Company, bringing its total to 25,608 shares valued at $4,616,354, according to Trade Calls.
