Dental supply company Envista recorded $51.9 million in net income during the second quarter of 2023, according to its Aug. 2 financial report.
Here are five more things to know about the report:
1. Total sales were $662.4 million during the second quarter of 2023, an increase over the $645.8 million recorded in the second quarter last year.
2. Cost of sales was $283.8 million during the second quarter, creating a gross profit of $378.6 million.
3. Specialty products and technologies accounted for $417 million of 2023 second quarter sales, while the remaining $245.4 million was made through equipment and consumables.
4. The $51.9 million in second-quarter income is an increase after the company reported $47.1 million during the same period of 2022.
5. Through the first two quarters of 2023, net income is $95.7 million, a decrease compared to the $122 million recorded in the first six months of 2022.
