The dental lab industry could be at risk amid a high number of owners reaching retirement age, according to Standard Dental Labs.
The Orlando,Fla.-based dental lab said Jan. 23 the U.S. is facing a wave of lab owners without a succession plan for their businesses.
The company seeks to acquire privately owned dental labs, recently launching a program dedicated to helping retiring owners transition their ownership and secure a retirement plan.
