Kimberly Cook worked as a clerk at Generational Dental Associates in Cranberry Township, Pa., for two years. Police said Ms. Cook admitted to stealing the money. She was charged with two counts of felony theft in May.
In addition to her prison sentence, Ms. Cook will pay $80,000 in restitution.
