1. The ADA supports the expansion of coverage to include payment for dental services that are related to the success of other covered services such as treatment for head and neck cancers.
2. The organization urged CMS to consider including services that are not directly related to the elimination of dental infection, such as the replacement of teeth after a covered treatment.
3. The ADA hopes to work with CMS to create a better payment schedule for dental services.
