New York man pleads guilty to operating false dental office

A New York City man recently pleaded guilty to charges of practicing dentistry without a license, westchester.news12.com reported Nov. 29.

Cesar Masso, 79, set up an unlicensed dental business in White Plains, N.Y., and allegedly performed extractions and administered X-rays without proper authorization. He was arraigned on the charges in March. 

As part of the plea deal, Mr. Masso will reimburse a total of $165,000 to people he provided services to and will serve one year of interim probation.
