East Carolina University’s School of Dental Medicine in Greenville, N.C., recently celebrated serving 100,000 patients throughout the state.
The dental school has treated patients at its hospital and on-campus clinics, according to a Jan. 16 news release.
The university opened its dental school in 2011 with the goal of increasing access to oral healthcare in the state. Nearly 90% of the school’s graduates practice in North Carolina.
