Rose Horne was arrested in April after she worked at three dental practices in Pennsylvania without the required certifications.

During a preliminary hearing May 8, the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office revealed that Ms. Horne may have been working for a fourth dentist, which would violate the conditions of her bail. The bail conditions included barring Ms. Horne from working in a dental office until after the case was closed.

The AG prosecutor said that the office is investigating a tip that Ms. Horne was working for a dentist in Philadelphia.

Two dentists and an office manager testified that Ms. Horne represented herself as certified to perform X-rays as an expanded function dental assistant.

Neither the Pennsylvania Board of Dentistry nor the Dental Assisting National Board have any records that Ms. Horne is a licensed EFDA.

Ms. Horne currently is charged with five felony counts of prohibited use of radiation source, the report said.
