Four notes for dental practices:
1. The recall applies to the StellaLife advanced formula peppermint Vega oral care rinse produced Feb. 16 and released March 28. It also applies to the unflavored StellaLife Vega oral spray produced March 1 and released March 28.
2. The oral care rinse was found to contain higher than acceptable levels of a total aerobic microbial count, while the oral spray was found to contain Bacillus, HomeoCare said June 5.
3. No adverse events related to the two products have been reported to HomeoCare, according to a news release.
4. HomeoCare said dental practices that have the recalled products should examine their inventory, cease distribution and return the products to the company.
