3 updates on Pennsylvania’s dental industry in 10 days

Here are three updates on dentistry in Pennsylvania, as reported by Becker’s since Sept. 5:

1. Lawmakers in Pennsylvania are continuing efforts to restore the state’s adult Medicaid services after they were eliminated over a decade ago.

2. Two dentists opened a practice in Burnham, Pa., to expand services. 

3. Pennsylvania lawmakers passed House Bill 1664, which prohibits dental insurers from only paying dentists with virtual credit cards.
